Beauty and the Beasts cast grades 6-10 Monday, July 10-Friday, July 28, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performances Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29.

Now on stage at Westchester Broadway Theatre is their 201st production of “Annie,” running through September 10. Inspired by the 1924 comic strip, Annie is set in New York City in 1933 and is rescued from an orphanage by Daddy Warbucks. “Annie” features great songs like “Easy Street” and “Tomorrow.” Contact broadwaytheatre.comor 914-592-2222. It will be followed by Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun,” running September 14 to November 26, 2017 and then back on December 28, 2017 to January 28, 2017.

Syncopation, a romantic comedy by Allan Knee, is coming to Penguin Repertory Theatre in Stony Point August 11, running weekends through September 3. Set in New York City in 1911, it features an unlikely couple—a 38-year-old Jewish butcher and a young Italian garment worker—taking dance lessons in a sixth-floor walkup and dreaming of a better life.
