HUDSON UNITED ACQUIRES ROCKLAND INSURANCE AGENCY

Hudson United is pleased to announce it has acquired Rockland Insurance Agency of Haverstraw, New York.  Hudson will maintain the agency’s brand and operate under the name, “Rockland Insurance Agency: A Hudson United Company.” They plan to remain in the agency’s current location at 222 Route 9W in Haverstraw.

 

“Expanding into North Rockland is going to help us provide better service to our customer base,” said Daniel Rand, President of Hudson United Insurance. “Rockland Insurance is currently located in close proximity to the county’s only NYS Department of Motor Vehicles location, and many drivers stop by the agency to shop for their auto insurance.”

 

Rockland Insurance has always specialized in coverage for contractors, businesses, auto, risk, and other commercial policies.  “As a Hudson United company, Rockland Insurance will be able to expand their commercial insurance offerings throughout all of New York and New Jersey,” said Rand.
