Palisades Interstate Parkway Construction Closures Expected to Continue

A full closure of the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway between Exit 18 (Route 6) and Exit 15 (Old Gate Hill Road) is expected to occur weeknights (Monday to Friday) from 7:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. beginning Monday, August 7, until Friday, September 15, while crews continue to perform construction activities, weather permitting. Additionally, a single southbound lane is expected to remain closed until 10 a.m. on Saturdays during this time.

Northbound single lane closures on the Parkway are expected to continue daily, Monday through Thursday between Exit 13 (Route 202) and Exit 18 (Route 6) from 8 p.m. to noon. Southbound single lane closures in this location are also expected on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Motorists should follow the signed detour for the full southbound closure, and anticipate delays during the single lane closures.
