THE HORSE VISITS MONSEY: Police say 100 decks of heroin found on woman

On Sunday August 27, 2017, Ramapo Police arrested 22-year-old Esther Zamir of Monsey for possession of approximately 100 “decks” of heroin, hypodermic needles, some marijuana following a complaint she drove an acquaintance’s car with authorization.

Police initially charged her with a class A misdemeanor for driving a car without permission but upon further investigation charged her with DWAI drugs and following a search of her vehicle added two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (B felonies) and other drug charges.

Zamir was arraigned at the Wesley Hills Justice Court by Judge Schnelwar and released without bail.
