WE WISH YOU WELL CHARLOTTE!

On Wednesday, August 30 the longtime library coordinator/ bilingual clerk for Village of Haverstraw’s King’s Daughter Public Library Charlotte von Hein officially retired. She served the community for a total of 39 years, frequently a smiling face stationed at the front desk greeting denizens as they arrived.

Charlotte’s daughter Kelly De León made sure her “wonderful mother,” as she described her, received recognition from the community, posting a nice farewell note on Facebook and forwarding it to the Rockland County Times.

Kelly said of her mother: “During my life, I’ve watched you work so hard, your years of sacrifice for us. I hope you will always know that I feel very proud saying I am your daughter because you are the perfect example of a hard working mother and a professional. Thank you Mami, I love you and happy retirement!”
