NYACK CHAMBER’S 31st ANNUAL SEPTEMBERFEST FAIR – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

Summer gets a great sendoff at Nyack’s 31st annual SeptemberFest street fair, set for Sunday, September 10 in the heart of Nyack on Main Street and Broadway. Presented by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, the fair runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is free, and parking is free throughout the village.
 
Families and fun-seekers shouldn’t miss this special event, featuring over 300 vendors with something for everyone ― jewelry, art, photography, collectibles, antiques, quality handmade crafts, unique gifts and much more. The fair features live entertainment, plus great food, outdoor dining and activities for the kids. Fairgoers can also enjoy Nyack’s many shops, pubs and restaurants offering SeptemberFest specials.
 
This year’s event is sponsored by Autobahn Indoor Speedway. Kids of all ages can join the circus for a day, taking in Amazing Grace CIRCUS! demonstrations in Memorial Park. Circus Family Fun Day includes tight-wire walking, unicycles, juggling, human pyramids and more – all with performances and help from the circus performers. Participation is free. Musical entertainment, organized by event manager Mark Mangan, begins at 11 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m. Performing live on the Nyack Chamber Stage on Main and Cedar streets:
11 a.m.           Jeff Rubin — acoustic guitarist, formerly of Oingo Boingo 
1 p.m.            Jeff Doctorow – acoustic guitar
2:30  p.m.           Dead Meat — Grateful Dead tribute band
4 p.m.           To be announced
 
While grown-ups groove to the music, the fair will offer plenty for the younger set, with kids’ games and bouncy houses in the Main Street parking lot.
