Supervisor Howard Phillips and the Haverstraw Town Board this week announced that the Town of Haverstraw will be hosting its Eleventh Annual Ninety-Plus Recognition Day on Thursday, October 12 at 11:30 a.m. The event will be held at the Hudson Water Club.
Any resident of the Town of Haverstraw who is or will be 90 years or better before January 1 is invited and encouraged to attend with a guest. There will be a brief ceremony with distribution of gifts and certificates, followed by lunch.
Contact Alex Guarino, assistant to the supervisor at Town Hall, ph# 845-429-2200 by September 28 to RSVP if you would like to be included in the festivities or know someone from Haverstraw who is 90 or better.
