Hello, Rockland County! I hope that you have had a great week and that an even better weekend is upon you. Before I begin, I’d like to express my condolences to all those lost in the horrible Las Vegas shooting earlier this week. My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of the victims. Now, onto the forecast.

Friday: Cloudy skies with some showers. High near 68° after a morning low near 60°. Chance of rain is 60%.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy skies with a stray shower. High near 76° after a morning low near 62°. Chance of rain is 20%.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy skies with the chance for an afternoon shower. High near 75° after a morning low near 65°. Chance of rain is 30%.

Monday: Expect periods of rain. High near 68° after a morning low near 66°. Chance of rain is 80%.

Tuesday: Expect occasional showers, especially during the morning, but may persist into the afternoon. High near 70° after a morning low near 65°. Chance of rain is 60%.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy skies with the chance for afternoon showers. High near 75° after a morning low near 65°. Chance of rain is 40%.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy skies early, becoming mostly sunny during the afternoon. High near 64° after a morning low near 52°. Chance of rain is 10%.

SUMMARY:

An unsettled pattern is about to unfold that will last through the middle part of next week. The rain could be the remnants of the tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico. Either way, have your umbrella ready. Have a great weekend!
