Rosie O’Donnell Enlists Media’s Help in Sale of her Nyack Estate

Media venues received an email from Rosie O’Donnell’s PR agent last week stating the TV star and longtime South Nyack resident is selling her Hudson riverfront estate located in the village. Not a bad strategy, since the news was quickly advertised all over the world.

Ellis Sotheby’s International Realty is handling the sale, said spokeswoman Evy Apostolatos of RDR PR. Her press release said that O’Donnell’s South Nyack ‘compound’ is comprised of fives homes, listed collectively for a $10,795,000 asking price.

Homes can be purchased individually, as well. The main house at 1 Gesner Avenue, which has served as Rosie’s primary residence, will list individually for $5.3 million. She also owns properties at 1,2,4 & 5 Washington Ave.

O’Donnell’s homes total 19 bedrooms and 17 baths (12 full, five half) across approx. two and a half acres of land.
