REPORT FROM CPD
Friday evening, February 23 at approximately 5:20 p.m. officers fromย Clarkstown PD responded to the area of 259 Rt. 9W in Congers for a car accident.
The sole female occupant of the vehicle passed away from injuries suffered in the accident. The Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Team is investigating the scene. Rt. 9W was closed in both directions for several hours.
The name of the victim will be revealed following notification of next of kin.
