Hello, Rockland County! March has come in like a lion, which means so has Meteorological Spring! Yes, it is officially Meteorological Spring, so let’s see if any spring-like weather is in store.

Friday: Rain, some of it will fall moderately to heavily. There *could* be a changeover to snow Friday afternoon. Windy as well. If there is an early changeover, several inches of snow is possible. A couple of inches of rain before hand is expected too. High near 35° after a morning low near that temp as well. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.

Winds NNW at 20-25 mph with higher gusts.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy and breezy. Some early morning snow showers are possible. High near 45° after a morning low near 28°. Winds N at 10-20 mph with higher gusts. Chance of snow is 20 percent.

Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy. High near 45° after a morning low near 34°. Chance of rain is 10 percent.

Monday: Partly cloudy with a high of 45° after a morning low near 33°. Chance of rain is 10 percent.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high a 43° after a morning low near 32°. Chance of rain is 20 percent.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. A storm system could bring some wintry or mixed precipitation. High near 37° after a morning low near 33°. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. A storm system could bring some wintry or mixed precipitation. High near 40° after a morning low near 30°. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

SUMMARY:
The main concern is Friday’s big storm. There is a lot of uncertainty still, with heavy rain and snow still a threat as well as windy conditions. Flooding can’t be ruled out as well as accumulating snow. Be safe!
