WEATHER THIS WEEK: March 23-29

Your weekly forecast by Zachary Jacomowitz

Hello, Rockland County! Spring officially began this past Tuesday at 12:15 pm, but it sure hasn’t felt like or looked like spring. Let’s take a dive into the forecast to see if next week brings about any spring-like weather.

Friday: Mixture of sun and clouds. Breezy, with a high near 41° after a morning low near 26°. Chance of precipitation is 10% as a stray snow flurry cannot be ruled out.

Saturday: Partly cloudy skies with a high near 42° after a morning low near 26°. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy skies. There could be a storm system to our south. It’ll have to be watched to see if it will bring any impacts to our area. High near 40° after a morning low near 28°. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday: Partly cloudy skies. Like Sunday, a storm system to our south will have to be watched to see if it comes closer to our area. High near 43° after a morning low near 27°. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. High near 48° after a morning low near 28°. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for a few rain showers. High near 44° after a morning low near 33°. Chance of rain is 30%.

Thursday: Partly cloudy skies with a high near 53° after a morning low near 38°. Chance of precipitation is 10%.

SUMMARY:
An overall quiet week of weather is expected. A close call with yet another storm could occur Sunday-Monday, but as of now, most of it looks to stay to our south and east, but it’ll be watched. There are some hints of milder temperatures towards the end of next week, so maybe spring-like weather is not too far away! Have a great week!
