Arrests from Stony Point Police Department

ASSAULT
German Santiago, age 64, residing in Stony Point, NY, was arrested for assault in the third degree on March 18. On this day, Stony Point Police officers responded to Knights Corner for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who had injuries to his head and mouth as a result of the altercation, in which the victim alleged that the Defendant struck him several times in the head. Following an investigation, the defendant was placed under arrest. The defendant was booked, processed and released with a return date to the Stony Point Justice Court on August 10, 2018 at 9 a.m.

PETIT LARCENY & CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Wilton Rodriguez, age 20, residing in Stony Point, NY, was transported to Stony Point Police Department by the Haverstraw Police on March 21 for an outstanding bench warrant for petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. The defendant was booked and processed by Stony Point Police. He was arraigned in the Stony Point Justice Court and bail was requested in the amount of $350, with a return date of August 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. The defendant was transported to Rockland County Jail.
