31-year-old man accused of throwing a rock through a bedroom window

A 31-year-old Stony Point man was arrested for allegedly throwing a rock through a bedroom window during a domestic dispute last week.

Police said no persons were injured during the course of the dispute, which took place at a residence on Wayne Avenue. Police had been called on April 17 to respond to a domestic dispute at the location.

On April 18 they arrested Dominick Varano on one count of fourth degree criminal mischief, accusing him of throwing the stone that shattered the window.

Varano was processed and arraigned at Stony Point Justice Court and released on $100 bail. He is scheduled to return to Stony Point Justice Court on April 26.
