Retired Orangetown Police Chief hero passes away

The Orangetown Police Benevolent Association announced on Monday, March 14th, the passing of retired Police Chief Kevin Nulty.

Nulty was appointed as a town police officer in 1976 and moved up the ladder as appointed chief in 1997, until he took on retirement in 2019. During his retirement, he was a Criminal Justice & Government Policy Advisor.ย 

โ€œFor 43 years he served our community proudly, with 23 of them being chief,โ€ a union statement said. โ€Our membership sends our prayers to his wife Ann and his family during this difficult time, and our condolences to those who knew and loved him.โ€ย Photo of Kevin Nulty
