Thirty students from the Harrison & New City School of Music will perform at the Guest House at Graceland in Memphis, TN on Thursday April 7th at 3:30 p.m. EST.

Home of Elvis, there’s a full two days of music from schools all over the country performing rock, pop, classical music and more from April 6th-7th. With 400 seats in the gorgeous theater on the Graceland property, their students could not be more excited to perform.

Both schools have been preparing for this event since September. Beforehand, both schools dabbled in Rock & Roll history at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, where they got to perform there themselves. “It made our students truly feel like rockstars.” said Director of Harrison & New City School of Music, Samuel Farachi.

“It really gives them something different to stand out and to give them a little bit of history of where music came from and who was behind it and how it felt.” said Farachi.

The students range in age from 7-18 and include piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin and saxophone students rocking out classic hits at the birthplace of rock and roll.

Along with the students, the school’s teacher band who performed with Jon E Gee of John Mellencamp’s band at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last summer will back up the students.

The Harrison School of Music and New City School of Music are dedicated to showcasing their students at the top venues around the country. They’re fresh off of their standing ovation last year at the Foster Theater at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio.

A live stream will be available on the school’s website at www.HarrisonMusicSchool.com and www.NewCityMusicSchool.com. Anyone in both the Westchester County & Rockland County areas can tune in themselves for it on Thurs., April 7th, at 3:30 pm EST.
