Hoehm Town Happenings: Attention Clarkstown Seniors! Have Fun, Meet Friends and Stay Connected with our Seniors Clubs and Programs”

During the pandemic many of our Parks and Recreation programs had to take a hiatus, especially programs for se niors. We adapted to that challenge by recording a number of programs for our cable access and YouTube channels to get seniors mentally engaged and physically moving. While many seniors have returned to pre-pandemic levels of activ ity and engagement, I get the sense that there are others who may be looking to get reengaged with their peers, make new friends and pick up a new skill or hobby. The great news is that Clarkstown Recreation & Parks Department has a robust offering of programs that provide opportunities for seniors to enjoy the sense of com munity and fellowship that can enrich their lives. The best way to join in the fun is to attend one of our Senior Clubs. Our Senior Clubs enjoy a variety of activities, including concerts, classes and the occasional trip to cultural institutions. We’d really love to see more seniors take advantage of all our clubs have to offer. Please take a look at the list below and consider stopping by!
