Rockland Narcotics Task Force arrests six suspected drug dealers

This week, District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced the arrests and arraignments of multiple Rockland residents suspected of selling fentanyl and cocaine. The arrests are the result of a long-term investigation, conducted by the Rockland County District Attorney’s Narcotics Task Force, into street level narcotics sales in the Town of Haverstraw and the Village of Spring Valley.  The Rockland County District Attorney’s Narcotics Task Force comprises officers from multiple county police agencies and investigators from the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office. The mission of the task force is to collect narcotics related information from police departments, act on tips from the community and utilize various techniques to apprehend drug dealers.

The following defendants were indicted and arrested for the following charges:
– Nichols, Justin R, 21, of Spring Valley, NY Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (felony) Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 3 RD (felony)

– Del Rosario, Felix, 29, of Pomona, NY Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (felony) Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 3RD (felony)

– Thomas, Duane, 45, of Nanuet, NY Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (felony) Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 3RD (felony)

– Roldan, Diamond, 23, of Spring Valley NY Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (felony) Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 3RD (felony)

– Molina-Orellana, Manuel, 45, of Spring Valley, NY Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (felony) Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 3RD (felony)

– Mazariego-Martinez- Luis, 25, of Spring Valley, NY Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd (felony) Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance 3RD (felony)
“The scourge of Fentanyl and other deadly drugs cannot and will not be tolerated in Rockland County. We applaud the work of the Narcotic Task Force and law enforcement partners for their great work,” District Attorney Walsh said. “Getting these dealers off the street will undoubtedly save lives. This should send a strong message to those selling this poison to our citizens that this office fully intends to prosecute these matters to the fullest extent of the law.”
