District 11 Candidate: Will Kennelly, Republican/Conservative

The Republican and Conservative Legislature candidate for District 11, Will Kennelly has lived in Congers, New York since he was five years old. Kennelly began his career as a beat cop in the 46th Precinct in the Bronx, eventually transferring to the Terrorism Task Force and retiring from the Manhattan South Homicide Squad/Division as a Detective, third grade. He also owned and operated a grille house named Kennelly’s for 25 years, where his greatest joy was meeting and getting to know the people of Rockland County.

Kennelly is a member of the Veteran’s Memorial Association Board in Congers, Sergeant-at-Arms for the NAM Knights and proud member of the Rockland Shields.

If elected, Kennelly’s agenda for Rockland County is to hold down property taxes, investing in infrastructure, public safety, families, seniors, and veterans. He is also focused on preserving open space in the county, promoting smart growth while enhancing recreational opportunities for all residents. Kennelly’s third goal is to support police and first responders, cracking down on crime and dangerous drugs like fentanyl.
