District 12 Candidate: Charles C. Falciglia, End Corruption

Charles J. Falciglia is a 43-year resident of the village of Suffern, New York who is currently serving his second term in the Rockland County Legislature, representing the residents of District 12. A 1976 graduate of Rockland Community College and a 1978 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Charles and his wife Rita have been married 33 years and are parents of two grown daughters, Amanda and Stephanie.

Legislator Falciglia, a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, has enjoyed a 37-year career as a banking professional, currently holding the position of Bank Secrecy Act Officer for the United States branches of an international bank. Charles served as chairman of the ACAMS Today Editorial Task Force from 2009 to 2011, served as trustee in Suffern village from 2012 to 2013, and was also a mayoral candidate in the village in 2013. He was elected to the Legislature in November 2015. Charles is currently a contributing writer to the Rockland Voice online news and editorial website, as well as a member of the H.H. Rogers-Cabrini Lodge, Sons of Italy Lodge in Tuxedo.
