Rockland residents should prepare for a minor snowstorm on Friday, January 19, as there is an 80% chance of snow. According to Accuweather.com, flurries will begin accumulating around 4 a.m. with an expected tapering off by 11 p.m. Total snow accumulation is expected to be 1 to 3 inches, with temperatures in the upper twenties. As of Thursday, January 18 at 1 p.m. no closures of town businesses or events have been reported. RCT will continue to update the public.
