Lieutenant Governor visits Rockland

On September 25th, the Hudson Valley Hispanic Bar Association presented the 9th Judicial District’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. The event featured keynote speakers Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado, Esq. and Hon. Anne E. Minihan, J.S.C. Five honorees were awarded for their service in the Hudson Valley Judicial System, including Magdelena Areizaga, Jasmin Reyes-Finch, Major Bryan Negron, Hon. Ivonne S. Santos, and Camila Bustos. The Lieutenant Governor focused his remarks on the power of diversity, freedom and equality for all. Lieutenant Governor Delgado stated that “When we embrace our diversity, we can tackle any issue”, and that he is “incredibly proud to lead New York’s first ever Office of Service and Civic Engagement” as an actionable method to continue uplifting diverse voices.
