Furry Friend of the Week – Lucius

Lucius, our charming 11 year old Male Domestic Long Haired cat, was surrendered to the Shelter due to no fault of his own.  A new family member developed allergies so he had to be removed from this long time home.  This sweet boy loves his treats and snuggles. Lucius been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, a condition that’s managed with daily medication and regular check-ups. He takes his medication with ease. Despite this, he’s full of life and affection, and he thrives on head scratches, cozy naps, and sharing quiet moments with his human companions. This older gentleman is a bit thinner than his younger days, but don’t let that fool you—his purr is as strong as ever, and he has a playful streak when the mood strikes.  Please consider opening your heart and home to this amazing sweet cat!
