Larceny investigation begins in Ramapo

Ramapo Police have arrested one suspect and are working to identify others believed to have been involved in larcenies from vehicles, primarily in Airmont, over two weekends in the overnight hours.

Various items were stolen from unlocked vehicles, including cash, credit cards and personal items.

The suspects attempted to use the stolen credit cards at stores in Rockland County and New Jersey.

The Ramapo Police Investigations Division was able to identify one of the suspects โ€“ Keith Casas, 29, from Airmont, who was charged with several counts of grant larceny, petit larceny and conspiracy.

He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to town court.

The police are working to identify the other involved suspects.
