Pearl River Library opens new temporary space as renovations commence

County Executive Ed Day joined Pearl River Public Library in celebration of the opening of its new temporary space at 75 E. Central Ave in Pearl River while its former home on Franklin Ave undergoes renovations.  

The Franklin Ave location will be closed for approximately 18 months for an overhaul of the space that includes upgrades to the community and children’s rooms, improvements to the heating and cooling systems, updated computer equipment, and an overall modernization of the library. 

We look forward to the completion of the project that will boast a new and improved space for both patrons and visitors of the library to enjoy for years to come.
