The sixth annual Upstate Art Weekend (UPAW) will be taking place July 17th โ 21st. After a strong 2024 season that included over 145 participants, UPAW is now gearing up for their much anticipated 2025 season. UPAW celebrates the artistic diversity of Upstate New York, and includes events and exhibitions taking place in ten counties, with Rockland being one of them. All events and exhibits are open to the general public.
Applications to be a part of UPAW are now open. These applications are for galleries, museums, creative spaces, projects, temporary exhibitions or events, and non-profit organizations. These applications are not open to individual artists or open studios.
All applicants must apply by March 27th at 5:00 p.m. EST. Late applications will not be accepted. Attendees who may find the fees a barrier to entry are encouraged to email upstate@stoneleafretreat.com. Applicants must include a reasoning behind their need for Financial Assistance and place โFinancial Assistanceโ in the subject line. Applicants must apply for financial assistance before March 20th.
