Dear Letters Editor
Congressman Lawler often sends out surveys to his constituents such as this one:
Do you support the tax cuts in our one big beautiful bill?
Yes-I support extending the TCJA tax cuts, raising the cap on SALT, increasing the child tax credit, and no taxes on tips in overtime
NO-I want to pay more in taxes
I have some suggestions for Congressman Lawler’s future surveys.
Do you support tax cuts that primarily benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations, while offering only some relief to middle income households and actually raising taxes on those making less than $30,000 a year?
OR
Do you support restructuring the TCJA tax, so it won’t primarily benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations, but it will help middle and lower-income households instead?
Here’s another survey:
Do you support tax cuts that primarily benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations and raise the SALT tax cap?
OR
Do you support wealthy people and powerful corporations paying their fair share and letting the cap on the SALT tax expire at the end of the year?
Here’s an idea:
Do you support tax cuts that primarily benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations, resulting in an estimated 10.3 million people losing their Medicaid coverage by 2034(as cited by the Congressional Budget Office)?
OR
Do you support wealthy people and powerful corporations paying their fair share, so 10.3 million people won’t lose their health insurance?
Here’s a suggestion:
Do you support a big beautiful bill which includes tax cuts that primarily benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations in addition to decreasing the federal funding for states, ultimately cutting off SNAP benefits for millions of families?
OR
Do you support a bill where wealthy people and powerful corporations pay their fair share and the federal/state formula for SNAP benefits and its administrative costs remain the same, so families won’t have to sacrifice purchasing enough food for their children?
Another question:
Do you support tax cuts in the big beautiful bill that primarily benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations including provisions in the bill that affect the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), including eliminating federal funding for it until 2034?
OR
Do you support a bill where wealthy people and powerful corporations pay their fair share, and low income families won’t have to live with miserable and even dangerous temperatures in their homes during the freezing winters and sweltering summers?
Congressman Lawler might be surprised by all the unselfish people in his district that actually care about the pain others will experience because the congressman voted to benefit wealthy people and powerful corporations, while sacrificing the health and well being of more vulnerable human beings.

Dear Letters Editor
Many Democrats have decided to wait out Trump and do their best to get back to the White House in 2028.
That’s the strategy ancient democrats adopted when Julius Caesar came to power in Rome. They were still waiting for their turn back in power 500 years later when the Roman emperors were finally overthrown by the barbarians.
Our ancestors did more than just sit on their hands and say “pretty please” to the British king. There is no need for violence today, but there is plenty of need for courage.
There is also a need for rapid and sophisticated education of the citizenry in the provisions of our constitutional law. In addition, media, local government, and universities need to provide the country with a vivid rundown of the disastrous political history of kings and tyrants throughout time.
Former President Bill Clinton once said, “There is nothing wrong with America that can’t be cured by what is right with America.” He was dead wrong. What is wrong with America has already clearly overpowered what is right with America, as government, corporations, and churches bend the knee to America’s first ever king.
