On Wednesday, July 30, Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and the Town Board held a ribbon cutting for the new fitness equipment the town purchased for the Street Community Center. “We’ve replaced virtually all of the equipment here at the Street Community Center and our other community centers,” Hoehmann explained. “It’s a great upgrade for all of our residents. It’s a really economical way for our residents and our seniors to be able to stay in shape and come to work out for way cheaper than it would be at gyms within the area.” The fitness center at the community center is free to use for all Clarkstown residents.
