Last year’s air show drew more than 26,000 spectators over two days from all over the region and country.
Once again this year it will showcase the latest military jets, displays of historic aircraft, the daring feats of parachutists, and a one-of-a-kind air-vs-land race.
Leading the high-flying spectacle is the F-22 Raptor Demo Team, showcasing breathtaking aerobatics and jaw-dropping maneuvers from the world’s fastest, most agile fighter jet.
This year’s lineup will also include:
– MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft demonstrations
– P-51 Mustang, the legendary World War II and Korean War fighter plane
– The West Point Parachute Team, one of the oldest continually operating parachute teams in the U.S. military
– An air-versus-land race pitting the P-51 Mustang against the CyberBeast “Nighthawk,” a specially enhanced Tesla Cybertruck
– Aerobatics by Mark Meredith, retired U.S. Navy Captain, flying his meticulously restored 1951 de Havilland DHC-1 Super Chipmunk, “Chippy”
