Music lovers gathered at Clover Stadium on Saturday, September 27, to enjoy the annual Rockland Music Fest. This year marked the first time the event has been held in the Pomona venue. Nearly a dozen bands performed from noon till late evening, offering an eclectic mix of music from Sixties to Rockabilly to Hip-Hop to 90s, there was something for everyone as those in attendance gathered on the field to get groovy with it and enjoy the tunes. Vendors were also showcasing their wares during the event, and one of the event’s founders and local entrepreneur Tom Ossa hopes the event will continue to grow with each season. Volunteers from Rockland businesses and non-profits also volunteered to help make the day a success. The proceeds from the event went to Meal on Wheels of Rockland, who are celebrating 50 Years of serving and delivering meals to older adults in the county.
