Fall is Full of Fun in Rockland

Things were busy over the first weekend of October as several communities began celebrating the harvest season with full vigor.ย

Among those kicking off autumnal events was the Village of Nyack, which held its annual Arts Walk weekend, as well as the start of the Phoenix Fest, which will run through October 16th. Clover Stadium in Pomona welcomed music lovers to the start of its own โ€œOktoberfestโ€ celebration, which was filled with good music, good beer and good times. Sunny skies and a resurgence of warm temperatures helped boost tourism to the county, something visitors, vendors and restaurants hope will prevail throughout the season.ย

Nyack is also readying for its annual Halloween parade, which will take place on October 25, and several communities will be holding their own, as well some offering โ€œno scareโ€ celebrations for the younger set.
