New Blauvelt Dunkin’ Donates $3,000 to Local Charity

Dunkin’ franchisee Kishan Patel commemorated the remodeled next generation Dunkin’ Donuts at 580 Route 303 in the Hamlet of Blauvelt with a $3,000 donation to Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland, in conjunction with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. Located in nearby Haverstraw, the mission of Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland is to preserve dignity for their neighbors through providing shelter, food and emergency support.

“On behalf of the thousands of families we support, we are grateful to Kishan Patel and the entire Dunkin’ community for their leadership and support of our mission of service,” said Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland Executive Director Dan Eudene. “This is the second time we have been blessed with Mr. Patel’s genuine kindness and generosity.”

The opening event featured the first 100 guests in line at 9 a.m. receiving a free medium hot or iced coffee for 100 days, while others spun the Dunkin’ prize wheel for free Dunkin’ merchandise, and enjoyed a complimentary Dunkin’ photobooth.

Representatives on behalf of the office of Rockland County Executive Ed Day; Representatives on behalf of the office of New York State Assemblyman Aron Wieder; Representatives on behalf of the Town of Orangetown; and members of the Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Department joined the celebration and participated in a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The newly remodeled, 400 square-foot Dunkin’ employs eight crew members and is open Monday to Saturday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
