Over $5,600 Raised for Easterseals NY

These realtors are really giving back

For Maria Kriesel, the core of real estate is community. While each person has their own reasons for getting into the industry, Kriesel emphasizes that “…if we do this business only for ourselves, we’re missing such a huge piece of peace and purpose in our lives.” 

For Kriesel and her team, however, it just wasn’t enough to be building community by helping Rocklanders buy and sell homes. After becoming the number one supporter of Easterseals NY in 2024, 23 realtors at CENTURY 21 Full Service Realty banded together once again to support Easterseals’ mission of empowering children and adults with disabilities, older adults, veterans, and their families to live full, independent lives by providing them with essential services. These 23 realtors raised over $11,000 from selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle held last Wednesday at Gio’s of New City. Over $5,600 of that, including an additional amount donated by the winner, will be presented to Easterseals NY. CENTURY 21 Full Service Realty has been donating to Easterseals since 1979, and as a company have raised over $141 million to further Easterseals’ incredible mission. 

At the end of the evening, Kriesel noted the emotion she saw as her realtors realized the impact they were going to have on the lives of others in their community. “It’s so much bigger than ourselves,” said Kriesel. “ [And] that’s what I hope they walk away with.”
