On November 28, 2025, Ramapo Police arrested a 30-year-old male from Airmont in regard to several different cases which occurred on 10/17/25 and 11/26/25 in the Village of Airmont and the Village of Chestnut Ridge. Â
On October 17, 2025, RPD responded to an alleged road rage incident in the Village of Airmont. The suspect reportedly threatened occupants of another vehicle with a knife and fled the scene. Â
Then in another allegedly unprovoked incident on November 26, 2025, the same suspect assaulted another male in the Village of Chestnut Ridge. The victim was approached in his vehicle and punched several times by the suspect. The suspect left that scene and encountered another male walking in the Village of Airmont and proceeded to assault him as well. The suspect was identified by RPD and he turned himself in to RPD on November 28th. Â
The male was charged with 2 counts of Assault 3rd Degree, 5 counts of Menacing 2nd Degree, 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, and 3 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Â
The male was arraigned and released without bail pending future court appearances. Orders of protections were issued for the victims in these cases.Â
