It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s…Mrs. Tran!

Before the schools closed down for the holiday break, Mrs. Tran of Thiells Elementary School engaged in a send off surprise of a lifetime! Dressed as the beloved “Elf on the Shelf,” Mrs. Tran was whisked away on a helicopter for a grand finale departure into the skies as she waved goodbye to her students. The students stood absolutely awestruck, screaming and cheering as she flew away. Mrs. Tran, who will be retiring at the end of the school year, was a much beloved teacher in North Rockland. Every comment left on social media lauded her every-day magic, her care for her students, and her indelible impact on the education of Rockland’s youth. Here’s to an even more magical retirement, Mrs. Tran!
