Spring Valley Taxi Driver Attacked by 13 Year Old

On January 4, 2026, at approximately 7:00 PM, the Spring Valley Police  Department responded to the Spring Valley Memorial Park for a reported  stabbing.  

Upon arrival to the scene, officers learned that the complainant was operating  a taxi and had picked up three males. The three males then attacked the taxi  driver. A knife was brandished by one of the three males during the attack.  The males relieved the driver of his phone, and a large sum of United States  currency. One of the suspects did injure a third party attempting to intervene  by cutting him with the knife.  

An immediate investigation was conducted during which Spring Valley  Police were able to identify and arrest one of the suspects, a 13-year-old  Spring Valley resident who is charged with Robbery in the First Degree, a B Felony. Two other suspects are still actively being sought.  

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed  innocent until proven guilty.
