Correctional Officer Arrested

Sheriff Falco has announced the arrest of 63 year old Rockland County Correctional Officer Russell Thorne following a reported incident that took place at the Rockland County Jail. Thorne has been arrested and charged with Attempted Assault, Promoting Prison Contraband, Criminal Tampering, and Obstructing Governmental Administration. Thorne has been arraigned and is expected back in court on March 18th.
