Winning Tickets Sold in Tappan and Pearl River

The New York Lottery has announced one third-prize-winning Powerplay ticket and one third-prize-winning ticket have been sold for the March 14 Powerball drawing. 

The first ticket was sold at Nick’s Convenience located at 68 Route 303 in Tappan. The store sold one prize-winning ticket worth $150,000. 

The second ticket was sold in Pearl River at Gulf Mart, located at 202 East Central Ave. The prize winning ticket in Pearl River was worth $50,000. 

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. When purchased, the Power Play option provides players with a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to 10 times. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
