Spring Valley Juvenile Arrested in SV

On March 4, 2026, at approximately 3:04 a.m., officers from the Spring Valley PD responded to Good Sam Hospital regarding a reported past assault.  

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female juvenile victim and her mother. The investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by a male student while riding a school bus in the area of Kearsing Parkway and Jill Lane earlier in the day. As a result of the incident, the victim sustained a facial injury.  

Following a thorough investigation, a juvenile male suspect—whose name is being withheld due to his age—was arrested on March 16, 2026. He has been charged with one count of Assault in the Third Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.  

The suspect was issued a juvenile appearance ticket and must appear on a future court date.  

A criminal complaint is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed  innocent until proven guilty.
