An 18th century grist mill that has undergone several changes – including making uniforms for soldiers during World War 2 – has become a tourism destination in Garnerville, where the sprawling complex now houses restaurants, art exhibitions and outdoor events that have become a mainstay in Rockland’s cultural makeup.
On Saturday, October 25, it welcomed dozens of visitors who enjoyed the music at Hudson’s Mill, art exhibitions and a baseball game were among the many offerings throughout the day. Garnerville Arts is preparing to host its annual fundraising gala on November 7, “Built on Brick, Formed by Art,” which begins at 7:00pm.
