Rockland Sorority to Recognize Local Leaders, Young Scholars

 Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Tau Gamma Zeta Chapter proudly announces its Annual Scholarship Brunch on Saturday, May 16th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the elegant Crowne Plaza Suffern-Mahwah, located at 3 Executive Boulevard, Suffern, NY. 

This highly anticipated event will bring together community leaders, advocates, and supporters for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to scholarship, service, and legacy building. Proceeds from the brunch will directly fund scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education, reinforcing the chapter’s deep commitment to educational access and opportunity. 

This year’s brunch will also honor a distinguished group of leaders and organizations whose work reflects the highest ideals of service, leadership, and community impact: 

● Wilhelmine Herard James, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – New York State Director, for her visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to service 

● Dennis McGloster, community advocate and member of the Rockland Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, for his steadfast commitment to uplifting communities 

● Jacqueline Foy, Tau Gamma Zeta Chapter’s Zeta of the Year, for exemplifying the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer womanhood 

● QuanJanet Enders, Amicae of Rockland County and Amicae of the Year, for her continued partnership and impactful community engagement 

● Amber Baker, dedicated community advocate, whose passion for service and commitment to uplifting others embodies the true spirit of empowerment 

● The distinguished men of the Rockland Sigmas, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, Rho Gamma Sigma Chapter, for their ongoing collaboration and service to the community 

Guided by the founding principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood, the Tau Gamma Zeta Chapter continues to invest in the next generation while honoring those who lead with purpose and integrity. 

Guests can expect an afternoon filled with celebration, connection, and inspiration, as well as opportunities to support a meaningful cause that creates lasting impact in the lives of young scholars.
