First Dominican Pastor Installed at Christian Church of Rockland

The Christian Church of Rockland has announced the pastoral installation of Dr. Máximo Rossi, Jr., marking a historic milestone as he becomes the first Dominican pastor to lead the congregation.

The installation represented a significant moment for Rockland County’s diverse and growing Hispanic community, reflecting both the changing demographics of the region and the church’s ongoing commitment to inclusive leadership and community engagement.

Dr. Rossi brings a passion for spiritual formation, community impact, and cross-cultural ministry. Under his leadership, the church aims to expand its outreach efforts and deepen its mission of guiding individuals into a growing, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
