On May 19, 2026, at approximately 11:59 a.m., the Spring Valley Police Department responded to the parking lot of 175 East Route 59 following a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle. Responding officers interviewed the victim, who reported that an unknown individual had shattered the front driver-side window of his vehicle and stolen a wallet containing cash and credit cards.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the stolen credit cards had been used at the Palisades Center Mall. Detectives responded to the scene and conducted a thorough investigation. As a result of the investigation, 29- year-old Sydeesa Sisco of Spring Valley and 33-year-old Terrence Rabel of Spring Valley were arrested on May 26, 2026.
Both defendants were charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, and Petit Larceny. Mr. Rabel was also charged in connection with two additional vehicle larceny investigations, while Ms. Sisco was charged in connection with one additional vehicle larceny investigation. Both defendants were arraigned before the Honorable Judge Sweet and remanded to the Rockland County Jail.
A Criminal Complaint is merely an accusation; the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
