The one-way sign for cars exiting the Middletown Road Plaza in Nanuet has been facing the wrong direction for over two years now. In 2011 the Rockland County Times first alerted the public to the problem. The sign should be facing out toward the road, but instead faces perpendicular into oncoming traffic.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 2 to 5 inches of snow and wintry mix for Rockland County beginning around 4 p.m. today (March 18), possibly followed by a period of all-ice, before turning to all-rain overnight.
