Schoenberger handed Independence Line; Leschinsky stays on the ballot

At courthouse hearings this week, Ilan Schoenberger’s petitions for the Independence Party were validated, giving him the line, as no other county executive candidates qualified to contest him via write-in. County executive candidate Simon Leschinsky of the Conservative Party won his battle to stay in the primary against party-endorsed candidate Tom Sullivan.
