Come One, Come All to the Free Community Health Fair in Haverstraw on Sunday, February 19 from 1- 4 PM

The Rockland County Department of Health and Quisqueya Sports Club are co-sponsoring the first annual Community Health Fair in Haverstraw on Sunday, February 19 from 1-4 p.m. at the Quisqueya Sports Club at 25 Broadway. The fair is a family event! There will be many health agencies and health care providers offering free screenings and educational materials on important health issues that affect the entire community.

Some of the agencies that will be at the Health Fair include: Cancer Services Program of the Hudson Valley Region, Catholic Community Services of Rockland, Fidelis Home Care, Good Samaritan Hospital, Hudson River Health Care, North Rockland School District, Nyack Hospital, Orange and Rockland, Rockland County Department of Health, Rockland County Department of Mental Health, Rockland Independent Living Center and more.

Some of the FREE services that will be available include: blood pressure screening, diabetes screening and education, rapid HIV testing, and more. Come and take part in a Zumba demonstration class, sign up for the local walking club and learn how to lose weight and eat right by signing up for the Lose to Win program!
