Walk/Run in North Rockland and Fight Cancer

The ninth annual North Rockland 3-mile run/walk will take place at 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 3 at Bowline Point Park in Haverstraw. The children’s race begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m.

Town of Haverstraw Supervisor Howard T. Phillips, Town of Stony Point Supervisor Geoffrey Finn, North Rockland Athletic Director Joseph Casarella and the Rockland Road Runners Club’s past-president Michael Greco will all participate in the event.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to: Brenda Fay, who has been battling breast cancer; Gabrielle DiCarlo, 5, diagnosed with cancer; and Krystian Santiago, 13, diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome

The event will be held rain or shine.
