The Haverstraw Brick Museum has announced the date of their annual commemoration of the Haverstraw Landslide of 1906. It will take place at the Brick Museum on Sunday, January 6, 2013, and the program will be led by Village Historian Stephen Cobb.
On January 8, 1906, 19 Haverstraw residents lost their lives as their homes and streets slid into the Hudson River, forever changing the landscape of the village.
