February 20 marked the one-year anniversary of Sean DePatto’s passing. Sean was a 9-year-old boy from Garnerville that passed away last year from leukemia.
A memorial and balloon release in Sean’s honor took place on the anniversary, as friends, family, community members & the Hudson valley Nam Knights gathered to celebrate his life.
Loved ones and supporters gathered at Mt. Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw at noon and released balloons with messages attached at exactly 12:28 p.m., which was the exact time he passed away a year earlier.
