Earlier this year, the Rockland Business Association (RBA) revived its Technology Initiative, meant educate Rockland-based businesses on ever-changing tech needs. The group is spearheaded by IT companies Atlantic-Tomorrowโs Office, VirtuIT Systems and Superior Technology Solutions. The Initiative coincides with Governor Cuomoโs State of the State presentation which proposed steps to accelerate the commercialization of good technology ideas and the creation of new businesses.
Last week, Superior Technology’s John Luludis delivered a presentation on the importance of developing an information security policy in the workplace. The monthly presentations are free of charge to members of the RBA. On June 27, local product and service providers will exhibit at the RBA Technology Initiative Product Fair at the Dolce Palisades Conference Center in Palisades, NY. Attendees can choose to attend various technology breakout sessions, and will include lunch and after-Fair cocktails. To learn more about the Technology Initiative, visitwww.rocklandbusiness.org.
